Canadian Online Safety Legislation
The Canadian government has recently confirmed they’re planning to introduce new legislation to protect kids online, with a potential age minimum for social media being considered. While the proposal is currently 14, we’re still advocating for the government to consider 16 to allow kids to get through puberty, like many other countries around the world. Email your MP to ask them to support legislation to protect kids online and to raise the age of social media to 16!
