The Compassion Committee is here to recognize and support foster families during important and significant specific life events such as: Retiring from Fostering, Adoption, Serious Illness/Injury (requiring a pause from fostering for 6+ weeks), Death of a child, Death in the Immediate Family (spouse/partner, child, parent, sibling) or Natural Disaster.
The committee aims to review referrals quickly and arrange thoughtful gestures like flower deliveries, cards, meal delivery, or other acknowledgments depending on the situation. This program aims to ensures foster families feel valued, connected, and supported throughout their journey.
Referrals can be made by completing the attached google link that has a form to be filled out. Make sure you press the submit button at the bottom once all the information is completed!
