We are approaching the most wonderful time of year where we celebrate and honour the personal achievements of youth in care between the ages of 13-18 at the Outstanding Youth Awards (The OYAs)!

Recognizing the potential in every youth is crucial for their development.  Every young person possesses unique qualities, talents, and abilities that contribute to their individuality.

The OYAs will take place on November 26^th 10am-2pm at the Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax. 

Youth are invited to bring three guests to celebrate their special day.  The number of guests per youth is intended to allow for two caregivers and their social worker.   

Foster caregivers, if you have a youth that should be nominated, please reach out to the child’s social worker so they can complete and submit the nomination.
